Just after 09:00 Communications assigned Company 5 to Sentry Equipment for a Laser cutter on fire inside the building. Chief 5 Styles confirmed with Communications that the fire was in side the building, he requested that the BOX be filled, adding Ladder 1, and Engine 12-1, Ladder 12-2, RS -2, Safety 1, Medic 14-5, 14-8. The Chief arrived and had Wagon 5 lay into the B side of the building and pull its 3inch pre-connect and a hand line, Crews completed the primary and secondary searches, and had the fire contained to the orginal fire area within 30 minutes, crews remained on site venting the smoke from the building before Chief Styles released units on the alarm.
