Co.5, Co. 1 as RIT and Lynchburg Fire were assigned to Forestdale drive for a car on fire near the home. When Medic 14-5 arrived they found heavy fire showing from the A/B corner. Engine 7 would arrive and Medic's 14-5 crew would pull a 2-1/2 per the orders of command (FF Coleman). Co. 5 units would pull a 1-3/4 and conduct a primary search, while Truck 2 put the aerial in operation to vent the roof. Units would use several handlines and all hands worked for 30 minutes bring under control. All units would return to service within 2-1/2 hours. Units assigned would be; P-5,E-5,R-5,L-1,E-7,E-2,T-2,B-2,Medic 14-5 and Medic 8-2,RS-2,County 3.
