At 20:00 hrs on Friday night a record breaking storm hit Central Virginia, without warning.  Company 5 members responded to 33 emergencies over the weekend including downed power lines, trees on homes, Fire Alarms, and Motor Vehicle Accidents, as well as a Structure Fire which unfortunately took the lives of 2 longtime Bedford County residents. The storm caused major damage to the area leaving many residents in our area without power for over a week.
