Members of Co. 5 belonging to Special Operations Command attended a Large Animal Rescue Class the last 3 days. Members learned how to work around large animals and move large animals. We conducted several different types of rescues, we rigged equipment for the heavy lifting, and gained the horses resepct, with blindfolds, proper harness construction to guide the animal to a safe area. With the training it gives the citizens of the 4th largest Horse and Cattle population in the Commonwealth of VA another resource if something happens.
